About Us
HISTORY

In February of 2000, under the leadership of Bishop Olu Itiola, the unction of the Holy Spirit was to form Fresh Anointing International Church (FAIC) in Montgomery, AL.  With Pastor Kyle Searcy as Senior Pastor, the Lord began a “new thing”.  After which time, the then 500 member ministry began to increase remarkably.  Soon thereafter FAIC moved into its 600-seat sanctuary and ministry complex in the city, on Woodley Road.   This ministry complex housed the Fresh Start Christian Academy, a Resource and Technology Center, and the KCS Ministry headquarters, with ample educational and office facilities.

The membership expanded to about 1,200 adults and children, requiring that the number of  services increase as well.   FAIC transitioned to three Sunday Morning services to accommodate the growth of its membership and visitors.  The blessing extended outside the building as well, as the ministry acquired 47 acres of land adjacent to its Woodley Road complex to
be used for the Kingdom and to the glory of God.

In August of 2006, the Lord opened up an opportunity for (FAIC) to purchase a 37,200-square foot building on 376 acres of land.  In March of 2007, this 6 year old building and massive acres were transformed into the new 2,000-seat sanctuary and dedicated in a celebration of the tremendous wealth transfer from the enemy’s kingdom to the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Also in 2007, with the leading of the Holy Spirit and the blessing of Bishop Olu, FAIC responded to “the calling of the Lord”  to make the shift and launch out to become Fresh Anointing House of Worship (FAHOW).  Since this calling and election there are now five seed-offspring of FAHOW throughout the southeast United States: Meridian, MS; Selma, AL; Augusta, GA; Orlando, FL; and Tampa, FL.  The membership at FAHOW has increased to nearly 2,000 and counting. The E3 vision for Montgomery-Exalt, Extend, Empower-was cast in 2008.  In July 2009, a new facet was added with the ordination of Senior Pastor Kyle Searcy to the office of Apostle.

FAHOW continues in the way of being a ministry with strong emphasis on prayer coupled with a commitment to community while aspiring to impact and transform one life at a time.

FAHOW is a multi-racial, multi-generational, international ministry committed to fulfilling the mandate of Christ to make disciples of every people group possible.

PAST & CURRENT PROJECTS

For many years at Fresh Anointing, we have had a passion to reach the poor and needy.  We have preached for years that our community should be better simply because we are in it and we are helping people improve their lives.  Our philosophy concerning helping those in need is that we desire to take them from where they are to where they need to be.  We don’t want to just give hand outs, but a hand up.  We have endeavored to further the cause of Christ and reach out to the poor and needy in a variety of ways.

We have held “crusades” in the local housing areas where we have ministered the gospel and given away food and clothing.  Our Nursing Home Ministry has consistently gone into local nursing homes and ministered to the needs of the elderly in the facilities.  We have at times stocked our church kitchen with donated food and operated a small food pantry for needy families in the church.

We have been a host site for the Angel Food Ministries, a non-profit, non-denominational organization, dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States.

Internationally, we have given Bibles and financial assistance to pastors and leaders in West Africa.  We also facilitated the digging of a well for a remote village community in Kenya, East Africa.  We also supplied donated Bibles, bicycles and medicines to the village.

We have held GED classes, computer training courses and financial planning seminars to help the congregants and the community improve their current social and economic statuses.

Throughout the years we have given small amounts of scholarship monies to several college students in our congregation. senior citizens and others who are truly in need.

E-3 Vision For FAHOW

        1. Exalt the Lord (House of Worship)

Tap into God is the first part of our vision at Fresh Anointing House of Worship is to
Exalt the Lord! We exalt Him through praise & worship and with  prayer and fasting.  We press in for a Great Awakening through 100 % obedience and service to God.

We will Exalt the Lord through a massive effort to reach the youth of our community.  We fuel this energy in a three-fold structure: Life Outreach-evangelism and teaching life skills; The Remix –discipleship and armory; and Joel’s Army—worship of God through radical abandonment.

We will Exalt the Lord through Prophecy, through Deliverance Ministry, and our Forerunner Ministry which focuses on the Second Coming of Christ and the End Times.

We will Exalt the Lord  through more than 35 fully functional ministries within the church, to include: Fresh Groups; strengthening the bonds of unity through small group fellowship. We will continue to host life-changing conferences inside the house while spreading the love of God outside the four walls of Fresh Anointing through community outreach.

We will Exalt the Lord  by the enrichment of His people through the manifestation of His healing power in the Healing Rooms.

We will Exalt the Lord  by equipping and training His people through New Convert and Discipleship Classes and the Fresh Anointing School of Ministry.

 Exalting the Lord; Defined:

Knowing God

Being radically committed to God

Being spiritually complete in Him

Walking in 100% obedience to God

     2.
Extend the Kingdom (House of Missions) Touch the World

The second part of the vision for Fresh Anointing House of Worship is to
Extend the Kingdom

Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Great Commission: Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

An astounding fact quoted by Pastor Benny Hinn, is that 70% of all the world’s preachers are in America.

Therefore we will Extend the Kingdom to the Motherland (Africa) of many of our members by investigating avenues for continued outreach projects.

We will “go ye therefore” and Extend the Kingdom to South America and to India with great anticipation and expectation for opportunities to arise in other nations.

We will Extend the Kingdom  through our established International Equipping Center, Apostolic and Prophetic (AP) Teams, via current church plants (Meridian, Selma, Tampa, Orlando, Augusta), and through future missions projects.

 Extending the Kingdom; defined:

Carrying out the will of God

Joy of impact

3. Empower the People (House of Mercy) Transform the Community

The third part of the Fresh Anointing House of Worship is to Empower the People.  Matthew 22:39-40  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Proverbs 19:17  He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

James 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Listed below are the many ways that we Empower the People in our local community.  We do this through GED classes and computer training classes in the Resource and Technology Center at the Woodley Road Campus.  We are a host site for Angel Food.  We have hosted numerous health and wellness seminars through various in-house ministries and Sunday services.  We are currently registered as a community agency with the United Way’s Community Resources Directory and 211 Connects database which includes 1,100 resources for health services/education, housing food, clothing, support groups, substance abuse, disabilities, counseling, senior citizens services, hotline numbers, volunteer opportunities and much more.

We are the facilitators of the Fresh Start Christian Academy ministering to preschooler in the community.  We minister to the elderly in their late and often lonely stages of their lives through our Nursing Home Ministry.  Local inmates in the Kilby Correctional Facility are often ministered to through our Prison Ministry.

 Empowering the Kingdom means:

Transforming the community
